One day in Nepal, after having travelled the world in search of paradise, the Swiss publisher Thierry Béguelin (1944) met a surprising boy who told him this fact: “Paradise is here (pointing to the heart of his interlocutor), why did you leave home? ” Back home, Providence directed him to Frithjof Schuon who, like any spiritual master, provided keys that could give access to true paradise. Faithful to his teaching since this meeting in 1977, Béguelin received Schuon’s authorization to publish extracts from his books, letters and unpublished texts, hence the publication of three collections: Les Perles du Pèlerin in 1990 (Le Seuil), Vers l’Essentiel : letters of a spiritual Master in 2013 (Seven Arrows) and The Consciousness of the Absolute in 2016 (Hozhoni),- as well as an index of about 3000 keywords of the author’s French works (click on this link for more details).
Christentum – Islam: Ausblicke auf eine esoterisch Ökumene (e-Book)
In this work, Frithjof Schuon compares Christianity and Islam and also looks at confessions within these world religions: Protestantism, Orthodoxy, and Shiism.
