Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-LXII
Remembrance of God — thinking of the One;
Remembrance of God — thinking of the One;
Why is the One so powerful?
Oneness seems little when thou countest;
The world is rich and great and
But it has not the quality of simplicity.
Ambiguity is imperfection;
The world is full of fissures,
Too many cooks are in its kitchen.
Look at the circle or the sphere: it is wonderful
To be so homogeneous and so entirely oneself.
Le Souvenir de Dieu — penser à l’Un ;
Le Souvenir de Dieu — penser à l’Un ;
Pourquoi l’Un est-il donc si puissant ?
L’unité est apparemment petite, si tu comptes ;
L’ambiguïté est imperfection ;
Gottesgedenken — an das Eine denken;
Gottesgedenken — an das Eine denken;
Warum ist denn das Eine so gewaltig?
Einheit ist scheinbar wenig, wenn du zählst;
Vieldeutigkeit ist Unvollkommenheit;
