Dream-castle world — who built thee?
Dream-castle world — who built thee?
They complain that thou art full of rifts,
Forgetting thy deep meaning. Happy the man who
Trusts in the Lord despite the flaws.
Architect God — Thou knewest Thy plan;
To criticize it is the madness of fools.
All the more so in that he who complains
Does not always look to his own virtue.

Ils se plaignent que tu es plein de fissures,
Oubliant ton sens profond. Heureux qui,
Malgré les défauts, se fie à son Seigneur.
Dieu Architecte — Tu connaissais Ton plan ;
Y trouver à redire est l’illusion des sots.
Et ceci d’autant plus que celui qui se plaint,
Ne s’enquiert pas toujours de sa propre vertu.

Ihn zu bemängeln ist der Toren Wahn.
Dies umso mehr, als der, der sich beklagt,
Nicht immer nach der eignen Tugend fragt.
