Les archives Frithjof Schuon constituent le fonds de documentation le plus complet sur la vie et l’œuvre de Schuon, notamment des articles publiés, de la correspondance personnelle, des papiers privés, des poèmes, des photographies et des œuvres d’art. Ce site contient également des informations d’archives relatives à «l’école pérennaliste», dont Schuon était le principal représentant. Divers résumés d’informations et différentes archives permettent au lecteur de voir la profondeur et l’ampleur de la vie et du corpus de Schuon sous différents angles.
De plus, aucune traduction n’est suffisante pour transmettre la nuance et la profondeur de la signification dans les langues d’origine. Les esprits raisonnables diffèrent souvent en ce qui concerne la meilleure traduction, mais il n’est pas possible d’imprimer le même document en plusieurs traductions. Cette archive conserve donc plusieurs traductions du même document à plusieurs reprises, permettant ainsi aux lecteurs de se faire leur propre opinion.
