“Late come ye, but yet ye come” — it is often late,

But never too late, to turn to God.
You know the parable of the eleventh hour,
Of the laborers in the vineyard: late work is also honored.
Do not think the work of old-age suffers from weakness,
That nothing can replace the discipline of early years;
In the last work, thanks to its joy, there often lies
Renewed faith and heightened strength.
It matters not when you do good;
It is said: If the end is good, then all is good.

Es heißt: Wenn Ende gut, dann alles gut.
