Thou hast chosen the path of Truth and Being,
Thou hast chosen the path of Truth and Being,
The path found in Plato and Shankara:
Beyond multiplicity is the Great One.
Take heed that thou inflame thy spirit for the Self.
Then thou may’t also choose the path of Beauty —
The path of the Wonderful become form.
Who can in sweet nights count the stars?
“The beautiful is the radiant garland of the True.”
Tu choisis la Voie de la Vérité et de l’Être,

Celle que tu trouves chez Shankara et Platon :
Au-delà du multiple, il y a le Grand Un.
Sois vigilant à enflammer l’esprit pour le Soi.
Ensuite tu pourras choisir aussi la voie de la Beauté —
La voie du Merveilleux devenu forme.
Qui peut, dans la nuit douce, compter les
« Le Beau est la couronne de rayons du Vrai. »

“Das Schöne ist der Strahlenkranz des Wahren.“
