Frithjof Schuon Archive

One should distinguish between a defectAnd a weakness; I call the latter harmless,And the former harmful, an offense to God.Weaknesses there may also be in Paradise —For man has the right to enter Heaven;God allows His children to be human.

Bhagavad Gita, the Song of the Exalted One —Even as a child I loved it, for it meant India,And because it resounded in my own language; It is no wonder that I was reading in itWhen the greatest spiritual grace of my life entered into me.
