Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-L
Certitude of God and then certitude of salvation;
Certitude of God and then certitude of salvation;
The second results from the first.
Then serenity: firstly from the certitude of God,
And then from the certitude of salvation. Light and beatitude.
It never does any harm to repeat
Whatever is useful for others and for oneself.
Certitude de Dieu, et puis certitude du salut ;
Certitude de Dieu, et puis certitude du salut ;
Celle-ci par celle-là. Puis sérénité :
Dérivant d’abord du premier savoir,
Ensuite du second. Lumière et Béatitude.
Cela ne peut jamais faire de mal de répéter
Ce qui est pour le bien d’autrui et de soi-même.
Gottesgewissheit, und dann Heilsgewissheit;
Gottesgewissheit, und dann Heilsgewissheit;
Diese aus jener. Dann Erhabenheit,
Serenitas: einmal aus erstem Wissen,
Und dann aus zweitem. Licht und Seligkeit.
Es kann nie schaden, dass man wiederhole
Was anderen, und einem selbst, zum Wohle.
