Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XLIII
There is the theory that all things
There is the theory that all things
Are relative; this theory overlooks
The essential power of the Absolute,
Which manifests, not what vacillates, but what
What fills all existence, like the ether.
This was the sound thinking of our fathers.
Kundgebend, nicht was schwankt, sondern was ist —
Was alles Dasein füllt, so wie der Äther.
Dies war das feste Denken unsrer Väter.
