Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-CXLVII

One could talk endlessly of beauty,

One could talk endlessly of beauty,

For in its holy nature it is infinite;

As is also knowledge. And blessèd is the heart

That does not forget Plato’s ray of Beauty in the True.

On pourrait indéfiniment discourir sur la Beauté,

On pourrait indéfiniment discourir sur la Beauté,

Parce qu’elle est infinie en sa nature sacrée ;

De même la Connaissance. Et béni soit le cœur

Qui dans le Vrai n’oublie pas le rayon de Beauté platonicien.

Man könnte endlos von der Schönheit reden,

Man könnte endlos von der Schönheit reden,

Weil sie in ihrem heilgen Wesen endlos ist;

So die Erkenntnis. Und gesegnet sei das Herz,

Das Platos Schönheitsstrahl im Wahren nicht vergisst.
