Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-LXIX
“The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”:
“The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”:
I am not thinking here of the moral aspect,
But only of the fragility of man;
This follows man in every
Not only the weak, but also the faithful.
The Lord will pardon for the sake of the good
Sincerity is gold on the scales of God.
Mais bien à la fragilité humaine ;
Sondern an menschliche Zerbrechlichkeit;
