I ask not others what Truth
I ask not others what Truth
And God-consciousness are. Likewise: I know
Without asking what certitude is,
And peace of soul — thus the circle is closed.
Whether other people are honest or
I wish, with a pure heart, to be devoted to God
And to trust in Him, knowing that whatever comes
Is safe with Him — and with Him alone.

Et la Conscience de Dieu. De même : je sais,
Sans le demander, ce qu’est la Certitude
Et la Sérénité — ainsi se ferme le cercle.
Que d’autres soient sincères ou non — en Dieu
Je veux être soumis d’un cœur intègre
Et Lui faire confiance, sachant que ce qui arrive
Est hébergé auprès de Lui — auprès de Lui seul.
