Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-CX
One can experience the God-willed beauty of this world
One can experience the God-willed beauty of this world
As a sinner, a slave of passion—
Or as a wise man, who penetrates
What God’s love and compassion create.
The penitent has the right to repent of his weakness—
But God has the right to sweeten the struggle for the strong.
Was Gottes Liebe und Erbarmen schafft.
Der Büßer darf für seine Schwäche büßen —
Gott darf dem Starken seinen Kampf versüßen.
