Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XLIX

Peasants write above their door:

Peasants write above their door:

“Everything is dependent on God’s blessing.”

And: “Blessèd be those

Who come in and out of this house.”

The blessing is the sacred air

That brings to life the fragrance of Heaven.

God has painted us an image of this

In the rainbow that shines in the sky.
