Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XXVI

Om, bh˙r bhuvah svah —

Om, bhûr bhuvah svah —

Tat Savitur varenyam.

“Earth and air, then heavenly expanse —

God Savitâ, who came to enlighten us”

With His eternal Word — Brahma satyam.

So says the Gâyatrî. First, the three worlds —

Within them, the ray of grace from the Divinity,

So that liberation may be our destiny.

Om, bhûr bhuvah svah —

Om, bhûr bhuvah svah —

Tat Savitur varenyam.

« Terre et air et puis l’espace céleste —

Tat Savitur varenyam.

„Erde und Luft und dann der Himmelsraum —

Gott Savitā, der uns erleuchten kam“

Mit seinem ewgen Wort — Brahma Satyam.

So die Gāyatrī. Erst der Welten drei —

Darin der Einen Gottheit Gnadenstrahl,

Auf dass Erlösung unser Schicksal sei.
