Thy human activity — was it great or small?
Was it admired or not? Whatever it may have been,
It no longer exists — thou standest before the Being of God.

Admirée ou non ? Quoi qu’il en soit,
Elle n’est plus — tu te tiens devant l’Être de Dieu.
