Wants us to think of a thing
That is not worthwhile. God grant
That we only heed those things that are of use.
When we bear in mind the Highest Worth,
Then shall the path be free for other gifts.

La voie nous est rendue libre pour d’autres dons.

Dass wir an irgend eine Sache denken
Die nicht der Mühe wert. So gebe Gott
Dass wir nur dem, was nützt, Beachtung schenken.
Wenn wir den Höchsten Wert im Sinne haben,
Dann ist der Weg uns frei für andre Gaben.
