World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-CXXII
All that is human is also relative;
All that is human is also relative;
So hold fast to the Divine Absolute —
From It derives what is “yes” and what is “no.”
Blessed the man who drinks from the cup of Truth,
Whom God enlightens with the wine of certitude.
Tout ce qui est humain est aussi conditionnel ;
Tout ce qui est humain est aussi conditionnel ;
Aussi attache-toi au divin Inconditionnel —
De Lui résulte ce qui est oui, ce qui est non.
Bienheureux qui s’abreuve à la coupe du Vrai —
Celui que Dieu illumine avec le Vin de la Certitude.
Alles, was menschlich ist, ist auch bedingt;
Alles, was menschlich ist, ist auch bedingt;
So halt dich an das göttlich Unbedingte —
Aus Ihm ergibt sich, was da Ja, was Nein.
Selig, wer aus der Wahrheit Becher trinkt —
Wen Gott erhellt mit der Gewissheit Wein.
