That eases for thee the caprices of life,

And brings consolation midst the pain of all care.

Say: God — while sitting, lying or walking,

So says the Koran; whatever thou doest,

Wherever thou mayest be — thy heart will be born again.

Dis : Dieu — assis, couché ou en marchant,

Ainsi t’exhorte le Coran ; quoi que tu fasses,

Qui que tu sois — ton cœur ressuscitera.

Und Tröstung bringt in aller Sorgen Qual.

Sprich: Gott — beim Sitzen, Liegen oder Gehen,

So mahnt dich der Koran; was du auch tust,

Wo du auch seist — dein Herz wird auferstehen.
