World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-XXV

The Christmas tree — a miracle from the forest,

The Christmas tree — a miracle from the forest,

On which candles shine and small globes hang;

It is no effort for a child’s heart

To make of this an image of Paradise.

For us too, the little tree has meaning —

It evokes gratitude and innocence.

Sur lequel brillent des bougies, pendent des boules ;

An welchem Kerzen leuchten, Kugeln hängen;
