World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-XXXIX

One puts the royal prince on the throne,

One puts the royal prince on the throne,

And places on his head the golden crown.

And then one says to him — I know not who can dare —

Now thou art king, and hast nothing to say.

This sounds highly improbable,

But this is how it is in our day.

Maintenant tu es roi, et tu n’as rien à dire.

Dies klingt recht unwahrscheinlich; jedenfalls
